Mexican Salad Dressing

With over a thousand recipes and almost 10 years as a food blogger, you know by now that I love making most food from scratch. My motto is “why buy it when it can be made at home” 🏡. Yes, I know, it’s a little more work but the results are fresher and also healthier…
Dressings and vinaigrettes are among them. I think of Russian Dressing, Roasted Red Pepper Parmesan Vinaigrette, Creamy Cilantro-Lime Dressing, Italian Vinaigrette, Creamy Avocado Dressing 🥑, Mandarin Orange Vinaigrette with Sesame, and more. Here’s another one to add to this list… Mexican Salad Dressing!
With a gorgeous combination of ingredients, this quick and easy condiment recipe is perfect for your salads. It can also be used as a dipping sauce for wings, crudités 🥕, meatballs, onion rings, etc. It yields a generous cup.
As I mentioned, this Mexican Salad Dressing can be a great addition to your salads as well as a dipping sauce. If it’s used to dip your wings, French fries 🍟, and so on, it’s good as is but as a salad dressing, the consistency is a little thick. To thin it up, stir in milk, adding a little at a time, until desired consistency.
As this lovely condiment is made from scratch without any preservatives, barely any sodium 🧂 plus using creamy ingredients, it won’t last that long in the fridge. It should be consumed within 3 to 4 days at the most.
Making this homemade Mexican Salad Dressing recipe (or any others) is so easy plus it’s very tasty! It takes less than 10 minutes ⏳ and you get yourself a flavorful condiment that can be used for different applications…
