Moo Shu Pork Tortillas
A couple of years ago, David and I discovered another great dish while dining out at a Chinese restaurant. It was very good but somehow we knew we could make it better. After figuring out the ingredients, on our first attempt, we were more than impressed with it and since then, we’ve been enjoying it in the comfort of our home. It’s my Moo Shu Pork Tortillas!
This is a great flavorful recipe! It has many beautiful seasonings giving this dish an awesome taste without being spicy. As a food vessel, I use tortillas which in my opinion hold all the yumminess together much better than lettuce. You can also use tacos which is another great option! If you prefer, you can eat it just as is but it’s definitely more fun with a food vessel.
When I serve these Moo Shu Pork Tortillas, I like to garnish them with some shredded purple cabbage, shredded carrots, green onions and cilantro. With all these ingredients combined, it makes this dish taste so scrumptious! We also like to squeeze a fresh lime on them. It brings everything together so well.
As much as we enjoy barbecuing and grilling many different dishes, this recipe is a delicious change. It’s a lovely finger food to serve this summer because from start to finish, these Moo Shu Pork Tortillas take less than 30 minutes to make… now that’s a big plus! This Chinese American inspired dish is an awesome recipe for kids too… they’ll love it!
