Greek Pizza
How many times have you heard that home cooking is the best and it’s true! You add your favorite 💖 ingredients, herbs and spices to your recipes plus you’re in control of what goes in it and how much you use. It’s fresher, cheaper and also healthier. There are less artificial flavors and preservatives.
According to psychologists, cooking meals at home can relax you, helping to reduce stress. Now, if you’re filming 🎥 what you’re making and have a deadline to meet (that’s if you own a cooking website), it’s NOT and I repeat, not relaxing at all… but that’s another topic, lol! Maybe one day, I should write about how things can go wrong when you are filming a recipe for a food blog…
Back to a more positive and less stressful note – writing 📝 helps me to relax, who knew!
What’s fun about making food at home 🏡 is you can experiment with ingredients, herbs and spices. The perfect example is my Greek Pizza! The ingredients used blend so well together. With shredded chicken, veggies, feta, and other flavorful ingredients, this is quite an original pizza!
I know most of you will try to find a quicker way to make this pizza 🍕 by buying premade crusts but if you do want to take that extra step, here’s what I use when making this Greek Pizza… my Rustic Italian Pizza Dough. It gives that Mediterranean flare to it! On the other hand, there is Easy-Cheesy Herb Pizza Dough and Green Onion Pizza Dough to choose from if you’d like.
This Greek Pizza has its own authentic taste! Besides the amazing ingredients, I like to drizzle on some extra virgin olive oil just before the pizza hits the oven. This little touch brings the ingredients in this flavorful dish together. Next time you decide to make 👩🍳👨🍳 pizza at home, you definitely have to try this one!

Greek Pizza

Ingredients
- 2 - 12 inch pizza crusts see Recipe
- 7-8 tbsp. tomato paste tips & tricks
- 2 medium chicken breasts, poached and shredded tips & tricks
- 30 thin slices red onion (15 per pizza), Lyonnaise cut tips & tricks
- 30 thin slices red pepper (15 per pizza)
- 1 tbsp. Greek seasoning (1/2 tbsp. per pizza) see Recipe
- 1/2 tbsp. dried basil (1 1/2 tsp. per pizza)
- garlic salt, to taste
- 12 medium cherry tomatoes, halved (6 per pizza)
- 2 cups feta cheese, small cubes (1 cup per pizza)
- 1 can (2.24 oz/64g) sliced black olives, drained (1/2 can per pizza)
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste (I always use mixed peppercorns)
- extra virgin olive oil, drizzled over tips & tricks
Directions
- Preheat oven to 500ºF.
- Spread tomato paste evenly on both pizza crusts. Add shredded chicken, onions and red peppers.
- Season with Greek seasoning, basil and garlic salt before adding cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and black olives.
- Add freshly ground black pepper and then drizzle olive oil on top.
- Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before slicing.
