Leftover Gravy Solution
If you’re like me when you throw a dinner party at your place or have people over during the Holidays, you want to make sure that there will be enough food so I always make more than I should. When everyone leaves, I’m stuck with the leftovers… a lot of them. For those of you who have been following me for awhile, you know that “waste” is not in my vocabulary. I try to salvage everything by either making other recipes with it or using certain tricks to save it for later use.
I love sauces and gravies. They enhance foods and wrap up the flavor so beautifully. For example – would you be able to imagine a nice juicy Thanksgiving Turkey without Gravy? A-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y not! It goes together like peanut butter and jam, peaches and cream etc. right? After serving your delicious meal, what do you do when you have leftover gravy? Don’t throw it away – it would be a sin – use this Leftover Gravy Solution trick instead!
I don’t buy premade gravies because I find them pretty tasteless and prefer making my own. I take pride in making my sauces and gravies from scratch by adding fresh ingredients, herbs and spices. The last thing I want to do is throw any of them down the drain and by using this Leftover Gravy Solution, not only have I saved it from the garburator but in the long run I also save money plus when I need a small amount of it, there’s always some around.
