Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
I enjoy cooking 👩🍳, and I think I’m pretty good at it. What started as a necessity has become my passion. Let me explain…
When I first moved out on my own, I was far from being a great cook. I panicked in the kitchen, and more often than not, I messed up recipes. But when I started doing my “mise en place” and stopped treating my kitchen like a lab for chemical experiments 🧬🧪, my cooking improved.
The sauces saved me many times during the transition from bad to okay. They were easy to make and helped rescue my dishes. With years of practice, I finally got much better, but if it weren’t for the sauces, I might have given up 😞 in the kitchen. I doubt it, but let’s assume…
I wasn’t familiar with the sauces until I had my first chicken finger meal. My first impression was, “Yum” 😋! I was so impressed with the flavor that I attempted to make it a couple of days later. I’m talking about my Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce! This sauce is amazing! Tangy with a hint of sweetness, this condiment is absolutely delicious!
Oven-Baked Chicken Fingers and Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce are a natural pairing, as are Chicken Nuggets with some homemade French fries. Another great option is to enjoy the sauce with pretzels 🥨… very nice!
Honey 🍯 is one of the ingredients, and I have a great trick when handling sticky ingredients. Click on this link to find out more: Measuring Honey, Syrup or Molasses without Sticking. I also use mayonnaise, and here’s the link to learn how to make your own: Homemade Mayonnaise
You can have this lovely Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce ready in 10 minutes. The taste is awesome! It’s also versatile, so there’s no reason not to make it at home 🏡. This delicious sauce will keep for up to 7 days when covered and stored in the refrigerator.
Bon Appétit!🍽

You might want to use powdered sugar but it will change the texture (a little grainy). Enjoy the recipe 😀
