It’s finally summer time and one great thing about the season is the produce. I love my fresh fruits and vegetables 🍆🥦. I have them every day with every meal… What can I say, it’s a healthy thing to do! As most of you should know by now, I love mixing several ingredients to create delicious new recipes.
The best ways to try different fruit combinations is by making smoothies. Think about it… with all of the fresh fruits available how can you resist the temptation? Also enjoying fruits in the morning is probably the best thing to do. You have all day to burn the sugar from them, giving you great energy as well 🚴♀️!
Here’s a fabulous one that I created… my Kiwi-Banana-Pineapple-Orange Smoothie 🥝🍌🍍🍊! Yes I know, I should come up with a shorter title and the reason why I didn’t is because this recipe is also featured on a large food website. Sorry but I’m stuck with the title as you can understand.

Kiwi-Banana-Pineapple-Orange Smoothie

Ingredients
- 1 large banana
- 1-2 large kiwi, peeled and sliced tips & tricks
- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice tips & tricks
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt, such as iögo
- 1 tsp. agave nectar (substitute honey) tips & tricks
- 1 tbsp. wheat germ
Directions
- In the jar of a blender, add all the ingredients. Process until smooth; taste and adjust if needed.
