Homemade Dijonnaise
Living in Toronto, I was used to cooking 👩🍳 with certain ingredients but since moving to the West Coast, there are certain ones that can be hard to find or even worse… not available at all!
Tired 😒 of feeling like I was looking for a needle in a hay stack, I decided to make them myself like Red Jalapeño Peppers Stuffed with Cream Cheese & Feta, Merguez, Creton, Homemade Mixed Spice ~ Épices Mélangées, Tourtière, as well as my Homemade Dijonnaise!
I never thought that making this condiment from scratch was so easy. The flavor is definitely much better than the commercial ones. It elevates your recipes just from the freshness of the ingredients especially when making your mayonnaise from scratch. Like my Mango Chutney 🥭, Sweet & Savory Homemade Ketchup, Homemade Sweet Relish, Sweet & Spicy German Mustard, and others, this Homemade Dijonnaise is another great condiment recipe to have around…
I use my Homemade Dijonnaise recipe in many dishes like Caesar Salad, Creamy Bacon Potato Salad, Chicken à la Dijonnaise, sauce for pork, Deviled Eggs, and many more. It’s also a nice ingredient for marinades, salad dressings or even as a sandwich spread 🥪.
You don’t have to live in the middle of Timbuktu to force yourself to make this lovely condiment. It’s so worth it to take that little extra step and make your own. It’s a great condiment to have on hand because it’s so versatile plus you’ll be saving a lot of money 💰 by making it from scratch. I’m positive you’ll be happy with the results of this fresh and creamy Homemade Dijonnaise…
Bon Appétit!🍽
UPDATE: Since 2023, Dijonnaise is no longer available in North America 🌎 either at stores or online. Therefore having this recipe is now very handy!

Thanks for this recipe. I can’t find it in the stores anymore. This is actually better. I love the original dijonnaise potato salad recipe.
