- 1/2 large iceberg lettuce, core removed and halved
- 12 large cherry tomatoes, halved tips & tricks
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing per serving, or more to taste see Recipe
- 10 slices red onions (Lyonnaise cut) per serving tips & tricks
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled tips & tricks
- 1/2 cup Blue cheese, grated tips & tricks
- cayenne or freshly ground black pepper, to taste (I always use mixed peppercorns)
Transfer each lettuce half to serving plates and place tomatoes around the iceberg. Spoon blue cheese dressing over the lettuce before adding sliced onions.
Sprinkle the top with cooked bacon and grated blue cheese; season with cayenne or black pepper.
