Surprisingly not too spicy, this tasty Triple Chili Wing Sauce has a great balance of flavor and can be used on wings or other proteins.

- 1 1/4 cups apple juice
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce see Recipe
- 1/4 cup chili sauce, such as Heinz®
- 1 large clove garlic, pressed
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar, such as demerara
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1/8 tbsp. red chili flakes, or more to taste
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all the ingredients; whisk until well blended.
Cook the sauce down until it reaches a syrupy consistency, about 30 to 45 minutes (*see footnote).
Footnote: If you decide to make my Baked Chicken Wings recipe, pour only 1/2 of the sauce over the baked wings, mix well and place the chicken wings back in the oven for 10 minutes with the temperature off. When you remove them from the oven, pour the remaining sauce over, mix and enjoy...
