Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries (substitute dried blueberries)
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. ground Himalayan pink salt, or to taste
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 to 2 small pinches cayenne pepper, or to taste

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 300ºF.
  • On a baking sheet, spread out almonds and walnuts in a single layer. Transfer to the preheated oven and toast for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
  • In a large bowl, add roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, raisins, chocolate pieces, coconut flakes, and both, cooled almonds and walnuts; season with salt, cinnamon and cayenne pepper.
  • Stir until the ingredients are nicely blended and store in a glass container. The mixture will keep for up to 3 weeks.
