Ingredients

  • 18 to 20 (4 oz./115 g) social tea cookies, such as Maria Biscuits plus more for garnish
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground Himalayan pink salt
  • cup sweetened condensed milk
  • dark cocoa powder, for dusting
  • strawberries, for garnish tips & tricks

Directions

  • In the bowl of a food processor, add biscuits, pulse a few times before letting it run until the cookies resemble sawdust; set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, add heavy cream, pure vanilla extract, and ground sea salt.
  • Using the whisk attachment, process on medium-high speed until medium peaks form.
  • Add sweetened condensed milk, and gently fold it into the whipped cream.
  • To assemble the dessert…
    In serving dishes, evenly spoon in a layer of cookie sawdust, followed by whipped cream mixture. Alternate layers and finish with cookie sawdust.
  • Cover each dish with plastic wrap, and transfer them to the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Later on, or the next day, just before serving, decorate the tops of the puddings; dust on cocoa powder and place a strawberry per dessert dish along with a cookie.
