- 1 ½ lbs. (680 g.) ground beef
- ½ cup red onion, finely diced
- 2 large cloves garlic, pressed
- 2 tbsp. fresh chopped cilantro tips & tricks
- 1 tbsp. fresh mint, chopped tips & tricks
- 1 tbsp. Ras el hanout see Recipe
- ½ tsp. ground Himalayan pink salt, or to taste
- ½ tsp. freshly ground mixed peppercorns, or to taste
- canola oil, as needed for BBQ grates
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, red onion, garlic, cilantro, mint, ras el hanout, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended. Evenly form 6 balls before turning them into patties.
Cover with plastic wrap and transfer to the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Bring the BBQ temperature between 450º and 500ºF; grease grates with canola oil.
Grill patties for about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until internal temp reaches 155ºF.
Serve them as burgers, or alongside lemon couscous, chermoula, and pita bread.
