Lemon Iced Tea

- 5 black tea sachets (substitute Orange Pekoe)
- 3 cups boiling water
- 4 to 6 tbsp. granulated sugar, or to taste
- 2 cups cold distilled water
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice tips & tricks
- simple syrup, if needed tips & tricks
In a large measuring cup, add the tea bags and pour boiling water over; steep for 6 to 10 minutes.
Remove the sachets, squeezing out any liquid and discard them.
Pour in a large pitcher and add sugar; stir until dissolved. Add the cold distilled water and lemon juice, stir well.
Cover and transfer to the fridge for 3 hours or until chilled. Just before serving, taste and adjust if necessary. If it needs more sweetness, add some simple syrup.
