- 1 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce or tamari soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar, such as demerara
- 1 tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp. ketchup
- 2 tbsp. honey tips & tricks
- 1 large clove garlic, pressed
- 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all the ingredients together. Stir well and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 25 minutes depending on the application. As it cools off, the sauce will thicken more.
