Gingerbread Coffee Creamer

Ingredients

  • 1 can (10 oz./300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 tbsp. blackstrap molasses tips & tricks
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger Footnote
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice

Directions

  • In a small pot over medium heat, add all the ingredients and whisk until blended. Heat until warm through – don’t bring it to a simmer.
  • Remove from the heat and allow it to cool before transferring to a container and chill until ready to serve. Yields 2 cups.

Notes

Footnote: Although the spices are all ground, for a better appearance, process them in a spice grinder prior to adding them to the pot.
