- 1/3 cup mayonnaise see Recipe
- 1/3 cup sour cream or crema
- 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped tips & tricks
- 1 medium clove garlic, pressed
- 2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice tips & tricks
- 1 tsp. lime zest
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. ground Himalayan pink salt, or to taste
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper, or to taste (I always use mixed peppercorns)
- 1/4 cup milk, or as needed
- 1 tsp. agave nectar, or more to taste tips & tricks
In a bowl, add mayo, sour cream, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, lime zest, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt and pepper. Stir the ingredients until very well blended.
Add milk, a tablespoon at a time, stir, and keep adding until desired consistency is reached. Add agave nectar and mix it in; taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
Cover and transfer to the fridge for 1 hour. Yields 1 cup.
