- 1 can (184g/6 oz.) tuna in water, drained
- 1/2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice tips & tricks
- 2 tbsp. red onions, diced tips & tricks
- 1/4 cup celery, diced tips & tricks
- 1 pinch ground Himalayan pink salt, or to taste
- freshly ground mixed peppercorns, to taste
- 3 tbsp. Miracle Whip (substitute mayo), or to taste
- 1/8 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. fresh chopped dill optional
- 4 slices bread, toasted
- lettuce optional
- tomato slices optional
In a bowl, combine drained tuna, and lemon juice. Break the chunks into small pieces. Add onions, celery, salt, pepper, Miracle Whip, smoked paprika, and dill if using; mix until well-coated. Spoon the mixture onto a toasted bread slice, covering the entire surface; add lettuce and tomato slices if desired. Top with the other toasted bread slice. Cut and enjoy!
