Brown Sugar Mustard Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. pre-cooked smoked ham
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, such as demerara
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup stone ground mustard
  • 2 tbsp. prepared yellow mustard

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Place ham in a pan lined with aluminum foil; set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine brown sugar, ground cloves, ground mustard and yellow prepared mustard. Stir well and pour mixture over ham.
  • Transfer to the preheated oven and cook for 1 ½ hours to 2 hours or until the  internal temperature reaches 160ºF. Let the ham rest for 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Footnote: If you want to cook it slower, place it in the oven at 325ºF for 2 to 2 1/2 1/2 hours. Depending on the size of your ham, the resting time varies. For less than 2 lbs., rest for 5-10 minutes. Anything between 2 and 5, rest for 15-20 minutes. Over 5 lbs., let it rest between 20-30 minutes.
