Chocolate Grasshopper Martini

With its bright green color, this is the perfect drink to enjoy on St Patrick's Day! It's also an elegant cocktail to serve after a lovely meal! It's like having a chocolate mint candy in liquid form with a grown up taste!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Vodka
  • 1 ounce white crème de cacao
  • 1 ounce crème de menthe
  • 1 1/2 ounces 35% heavy cream (substitute eggnog) see Recipe
  • 7-8 large ice cubes
  • dollop whipped cream, for garnish tips & tricks
  • finely shaved dark chocolate, for garnish

Directions

  • In the glass of a Boston shaker, combine vodka, crème de menthe, crème de cacao, heavy cream (substitute eggnog) and ice cubes. Place the metal shaker on top and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  • Place a strainer over the metal shaker and pour the mix into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
