Mandarin Orange Vinaigrette with Sesame

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange curd see Recipe
  • 1/4 cup grapeseed oil or any other flavorless oil tips & tricks
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. honey tips & tricks
  • 1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. ground Himalayan sea salt

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, add orange curd. Emulsify the grapeseed oil by slowly pouring in the curd, whisking constantly - it prevents it from separating.
  • Continue whisking to incorporate the sesame oil as well as the white wine vinegar.
  • Add honey, mustard, freshly ground black pepper and salt; whisk well to blend ingredients. Serve over salad.
