Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz./398 ml) hearts of palm, rinsed, drained and sliced
  • 4 tbsp. light sour cream
  • 1/2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more to taste tips & tricks
  • 1/4 tsp. fennel seeds, ground
  • 1 small pinch ground Himalayan sea salt, or to taste
  • 1 small pinch white pepper, or to taste
  • 2 large lettuce leaves, washed and torn

Directions

  • Rinse the vegetable thoroughly in a colander, drain and then slice.
  • In a bowl, add sour cream, lemon juice, ground fennel seeds, sea salt and white pepper; stir to combine.
  • Divide the torn lettuce among 4 small plates and place the sliced hearts of palm on top. Lightly drizzle the dressing on top.
