Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 oz.) light cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (substitute Miracle Whip®) see Recipe
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers, finely chopped, plus more for garnish tips & tricks
  • 7 1/2 ounces (213 g) crab meat, chopped Footnote

Directions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cream cheese, mayo, Parmesan cheese and garlic; stir until smooth. Cook until it starts to bubble.
  • Add artichoke hearts and red peppers. Stir well, cover, reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add crab, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Stir again, remove from the heat and serve with crostini or tortilla chips.

Notes

Footnote: If using a can, drain very well before adding to the cheese mixture.
